Part of the certified letter would detail them to provide any information they can with regard to the mold repairs and the actions taken as a direct result of mold in the jail.

During the mold repairs they said ""We're still arresting those who are a threat to the public safety, but other persons who have committed misdemeanor crimes without an immediate threat to public safety because of the type of crime are being cited and released," DeMeo said.
ReplyDeleteSo if I were arrested on a misdemeanor during a time they haven't resolved the mold issue, then they should have just let me go instead of detained me & let you get sick.
ReplyDeletewhat I ask them, and God will help you = is for them to prove mold testing was done to confirm it's removal, and if they knew there was mold but did NOT test it, they have no evidence it's gone. So without proof it's gone they shouldn't have had ME or anyone else in there.
what I'm really getting set up for is a settlement not a court case. court case if they don't settle, but the fact they had a previous history of mold, I can then get information of other prisoners who suffered. and seek a class action suit.
ReplyDeleteShit the mold was found by a health inspector, so THAT record is on file, I can demand a copy of that, AND demand the health department make a re inspection . the health department does NOT usually do testing or carry equipment. They only see "black stuff" and demand it's removed!!!!!!!!!!
